Metropolis was recently upload, it looks as though this is actually a restored copy and probably not public domain. Should it be deleted?

I do not believe however that this is the recently restored near complete version, but still it does show in the opening and end credits that it was restored by a professional institute or company.

P.S. Though the PQ is good the Soundtrack makes the movie unwatchable. The music isn't necessarily bad but a good score doesn't overpower a movie.

I haven't watched this, so I can't be sure, but you're likely right about this being a restored version of the movie. It appears to be just short of 2 hours long, which means it is probably the 119 min (DVD edition) (2002 Murnau Foundation 75th aniversary restored version) (IMDb page).

In the first 15 seconds it says Transit Films - Fredreich Wilhelm Murnau Siftung so this must be that restored copy.

I believe it should be removed.

Yes, it should be.
